PERSONAL REVIEW:
I tested the Worth Filthy 98 with Phil Pomales and Sandro Contreras on 11-25-2011. The temp. was around 60 degrees with a little bit of wind blowing in from center field. We hit at DiMaggio Fields in Martinez, CA. The field is 300 feet all around. We used the Evil BP 48 cor 425 compression softballs. We tested a 28oz. right out of the wrapper. The Worth Filthy 98 is a brand new design. Worth made some adjustments to the angles of the layers inside of the Filthy to give it it's own technology so it is not a 454, Titan or Mayhem. I hit first and the bat is smoking hot right out of the wrapper. I loved the feel of this bat. The Midload design is not too end loaded or balanced so it will fit most players swings perfectly. I actually had a decent clip of home run hitting with this bat and ended up hitting 9 out of the park. Phil hit the bat next and had a real good round hitting some nice line drives and hit 6 home runs. Sandro didn't get a chance to hit this bat because he was hitting the Filthy 120 and it was starting to get dark out by the end of his round. Worth has outdone themselves once again and we rank the Worth Filthy 98 as the #1 ASA bat for 2012. Reviewed by Anthony Kelly.

Don't have the time or resources to break in your bat before your first game, then let the professionals do it for you. We will break in your bat by hitting 100 softballs that are pitched from a pitching machine. The balls will be pitched at regular slo pitch speed with an arc of 6 TO 8 ft. We will rotate the bat so the entire barrel breaks in evenly. The Factory shrink wrap paper will be left on the bat during the break in process. This will not void your warranty like rolling your bat in a machine would. For Slow Pitch and Fastpitch Softball Bats the Softball used will be a 12 inch Dudley Thunder 44 core 400 compression.
