DESCRIPTION:

2014 Worth Filthy HPS Midload ASA ONLY Slowpitch Softball Bat. Higher Performance Series specifically designed for the 52 cor 300 compression and 52 cor 275 compression softballs. Made in the USA. 14 inch barrel. Midload swing weight. Filthy Multi-layer design.  100% Composite barrel is made solely from composite materials. Handle stiffness and barrel flexibility optimized to provide maximum batted ball speed. Worth has outdone themselves again with their new and patented Filthy Technology that extends the sweetspot two inches in both directions, giving the Worth Filthy HPS bat the largest sweetspot in the industry. PERSONAL REVIEW:

We tested the 2014 Worth Filthy HPS Midload ASA ONLY on 8-3-2012. The temp. was around 85 degrees with the wind blowing out to right field. We hit at DiMaggio Fields in Martinez, CA.  The field is about 310 feet to left and 330 feet to center and 300 feet to right. The balls used were Dudley Thunder 44 cor 375 compression and 52 cor 300 compression. We tested a 28oz. right out of the wrapper. Rob Taylor hit the bat first and he was hitting monster shots to center and right center field in the 400 - 415 foot range. Sandro Contreras hit the bat next and he was also launching moon shot homers in the 400 - 415 foot range to center and right center. They both cleared the railroad tracks in right center and those tracks are at about 410-415 feet. I did not hit that day because I had a pulled hamstring but I hit the bat about a month later in the indoor batting cage at USA Martinez and I was super impressed with how much more pop these new ASA Higher Performance Standard bats have over the old 98 MPH ASA standard bats. I'd say the new HPS bats hit the ball about 15 - 20 feet further and 2 MPH faster on the line drives than the old ASA standard bats. They also out perform USSSA 1.20 BPF standard bats by about 5 - 10 feet in distance. Reviewed by Anthony Kelly.

DESCRIPTION:

Don't have the time or resources to break in your bat before your first game, then let the professionals do it for you. We will break in your bat by hitting 100 softballs that are pitched from a pitching machine. The balls will be pitched at regular slo pitch speed with an arc of 6 TO 8 ft. We will rotate the bat so the entire barrel breaks in evenly. The Factory shrink wrap paper will be left on the bat during the break in process. This will not void your warranty like rolling your bat in a machine would. For Slow Pitch and Fastpitch Softball Bats the Softball used will be a 12 inch Dudley Thunder 44 core 400 compression.
