2018 Easton Fastpitch Bats  Reviews

Easton has been making wooden bats since 1969. They have been technology leaders in bat
making for their entire history with the sport. The company was one of the first to produce
aluminum bats, and their aluminum alloys helped to define the genre as it developed. They were
the first to create two part bats, which drastically reduce the feedback to a hitter’s hands on
contact. They also created the first titanium bats (no longer allowed by the leagues), and in
2006 created a composite bat that redefined the industry again. Easton’s fastpitch bats for 2018
include another breakout technology: The Ghost Double Barrel. Both the design and the
materials of this bat are innovations in the industry.

Along with the Ghost Double Barrel, the best Easton fastpitch softball bats for 2018 include the
Stealth Flex, the Stealth Hyperlight, and the Crystal. With two great bats for experienced players
and power hitters, and two great bats for younger players, Easton has the field covered.
2018 fastpitch softball bats review

Easton 2018 new fastpitch softball bats are among the best in the industry. The Ghost Double
Barrel is a breakout technology bat that seeks to re-define the performance fastpitch softball
experience. The next in the lineup is the Stealth Flex, a bat with a massive sweet spot, great
pop, and excellent performance. For younger or smaller players, the Stealth Hyperlight is a
composite technology bat with a great sweet spot, excellent swing speed and control, and a
larger drop than the first. Finally, the lightest bat of all is the Crystal – also designed for younger,
smaller players who are still looking for the advantages that Easton’s design and technology can
give them.

Ghost Double Barrel: The name comes from its double barrel technology that has an inner and
outer barrel. The outer barrel is softer, and provides great performance without any break in
period. In addition to great speed and pop, this bat has a great sound. When the ball causes the
inner barrel to hit the outer barrel, the bat makes an incredible crack. This bat also has a new
technology connecting the barrel to the handle. Almost all bats have some sort of mechanism
for reducing the vibration and sting of connecting with the ball. The new Ghost Double Barrel is
truly remarkable – both the ‘CONNEXION+’ connection technology and the 1.2mm pre-wrapped
grip enhance the feel of this bat. This bat also features new technology in its materials. A new
Extra Tough Resin Matrix (XTX) also improves the feel, speed, and weight of the bat. This is the
most expensive in the lineup, with about a $350 retail price.
